I'll add my 2 cents worth. Actually, that's in American currency and is just about worthless. But I digress; I know Adam's nickname is "Son" and Ross' is "Sten". Davy explained to me where the "Sten" comes from and then he told me his nickname, but for the life of me, I'm not sure what it is? I think he did say it's "Bibliomaniac" which is defined as someone who has "an exaggerated preoccupation with the acquisition and ownership of books." I'm pretty sure someone said Davy likes to read a lot, so does anyone know if that's his nickname? Enquiring minds want to know. Roy

"Bibliomaniac" which is defined as someone who has "an exaggerated preoccupation with the acquisition and ownership of books." This scares me. By its components, I figured that the word meant someone who really likes to read books, but I didn't know the exact definition. I'm just now finding out how frighteningly accurate it is for me.

Hey all - many apologies for the late reply!
So.... Guitars... here's a list of what I own!
Fender 62 Re-issue Strat (main electric) Fender SRV signature Strat Fender 65 reissue Mustang Fender Standard Telecaster Knowlton Swamp Thang electric Gretsch Duo Jet 1937 National Triolian 2 Gibson J-45's Avalon Silver series acoustic 1944 Martin A style Mandolin Ovation Electric Mandolin
I'm currently borrowing a great guitar made by Per that I'm really enjoying (check them out - they sound amazing! Big thanks to Lynette and Per Courtney there http://www.perguitars.com) and a Fender Custom Shop Rory Gallagher signature strat (With thanks to Arnie Goodman.) I'm also in the process of buying a beautiful 1965 (ish!) Gibson J50 which I have been playing and writing on during this last bit of time off. The last guitar I bought was the National in the list above, from Gruhn Guitars in Nashville (absolute heaven on earth!) Favourite?!?! ... hmm well obviously my turquoise strat (the 62 reissue) for electric, and either the National or the 65 J-50 - both are amazing instruments! Though I do have a soft spot for my Telecaster (though i don't tour with it) - it was the first proper electric guitar i owned.
As far as nicknames go... I'm afraid bibliomaniac hasn't been used - though I do like to read. Adam is the king of dishing out nicknames whether you want him to or not! Mine is either Danson, Danny.. etc etc

Wow Davy, nice list of equipment. Actually, in addition we should have asked if you have named any of the guitars, mandolins etc. Hey a Fender Tele, I've got one of those too. Very nice guitar I must say. Sorry about getting your nickname wrong, I guess I talk better than I listen! Hmmmm..........Danson, Danny? Is young Adam trying to make fun of your name? Somehow that would not surprise me. Hope we can chat a bit on November 13th. Take Care, Roy P.S. Gee, I wonder what my nickname would be if Adam gave me one? It probably would be "Pest"!

Davy! I got to see you for the first time live in Geneva NY! Great show and I enjoyed BDS!! A half hour isn't enough time for you, even with the encore jam! I saw the RG strat in the stand and was disapointed that you didn't get to play it. But the clock on the amp was ticking time away wasn't it kid? Get rid of that d**n clock son! Or move it down by your pedals. If it ain't yours tell Warren to stuff it! Thanks for a great show guys!!! I'll see y'all again soon!!!
Spider
Thanks
