Hi folks. So I believe the American adventure is over for a little while for Back Door Slam. As a fellow Brit its been fantastic to see them experiencing so much success in the US, and all of it well deserved. The band's hard work and talent has really paid off and I am delighted for them. In addition to doing it for themselves, it also shows that British bands that play the blues can do well in the USA and hopefully this will serve as inspiration to other aspiring musicians in future years. I wonder with this in mind, if anyone would have an approximate figure as to what Back Door Slam's total US album sales would be to date? If this is confidential or if you feel this is an inappropriate question, then I do apologise for asking this. I'm just curious as it could be a useful piece of information to share with other acts who may also be considering touring the US in future. Whatever the figure, I'm sure it is far higher than the boys ever imagined it would be, so well done Back Door Slam. Keep Slammin for years to come boys! ;D

Interesting question Duncan, I wondered that myself. I would think it's quite a large number. I will say this, if their follow up album contains the same soul touching music as the first, and I'll bet it does, then it will be a MONSTER! I'd also like to see them come out with a professionally recorded Live album. Now THAT would be sweet! Roy
