Lucky me, Lucky me!!! Another show in Maryland, close to my home, but..during the very hot and humid part of our summer. The sweat will be worth it because Joe Bonamassa and Derek Trucks are also there. Amazing line-up for a one day festival!!! Admission is $25...See you there!!! Cathy www.hotaugustblues.com/lineup/

Hey Cathy! If nothing turns up closer to NY, I may very well end up at this one! If so...we shall have to meet up! Ask Michelle and Slammer Paul...anything is possible!

OH HO! That would be amazing wouldn't it!
And I should clarify my post about Michelle and Paul! Just reread that and realized I left that open to interpretation...
Michelle and I went to the BDS/Kid Rock/Lynyrd Skynyrd show and discovered we were parked TWO cars away from Paul in this HUGE parking lot! It was great and kinda funny. Paul and his group shared their yummy tailgating fare with us. A very good day! ;D

Hmm...this sounds tempting, Paul, but don't think I'll be making the trip. I'm heading to the Mile High Festival in Denver in July instead. I was thinking about the Higher Ground show too, but there's also the Pleasantville Music Festival the day after. VT and NY are the same drive for me.....I think I might opt for NY. And yes, the Kid Rock/Skynyrd/BDS show at the Comcast Center was a lot of fun. Thanks again, Paul!

So disappointed ... got a call from Ticketmaster cancelling our tix for the Birchmere the night before Hot August Blues - Touring with Chickenfoot? I'll drive and pay to hear a full set by Davy and BDS, but honestly when he opened for Govt Mule and recently for Jeff Beck it just did not satisfy. I don't think BDS will draw a lot of new fans from the Chickenfoot audience. Very sad for the Baltimore-DC fans.
