The new album comes out digitally on May 19th but you can hear Coming up for Air and a few more songs on the back door slam myspace page now! Last I checked, Davy's myspace page had the most recently added tour dates and a new video too. The songs are FANTASTIC! Tear Down the Walls sounds incredible with the keyboard! LOVE IT!

Cranked it up on the way to work this morning! It is AWESOME!!!! Hear Me Lord gives me goosebumps, Tear Down the Walls with keys and back up vocals takes a song we know and love to a whole new level and LOVE the sound of Can't Take This Back. Can't wait for the ride home now!

AND I am SO glad that Saving Myself is still just Davy and the National! I'm sure if Davy had decided to add more to it, it would have been fine...but the song is PERFECT! Michelle, you check out the lyrics to Taste of Danger yet? They are awesome!

I agree about "Saving Myself" - I love that he kept it so simple. Simply perfect. The other acoustic track, "Amber's Song" is beautiful as well. Yes, I did listen to the lyrics, Shari. Loved them too.

Love the new album. I haven't had much time to listen to it yet. first take is Tear down the Walls is my favorite. i was already familiar with that song. Love all the songs - will go into more detail later. I don't do alot of itunes stuff but my loving husband just gave me an ipod a couple weeks ago for our anniversary so i have it on there. My first chance to listen i was doing yardwork and didn't know what song I was listening to, i knew there was one called Amber's song and really couldn't wait to hear it. When i heard Taste of Danger I thought maybe that was Amber's song and well I guess you had to be there in my head at the time but I thought it was her singing and maybe she wrote it, way different than my first thought, oh thats too sweet Davy has written her a song. anyway more later, great tunes Davy really writes/plays what I like to hear.

That's good that they are making radio waves in the US. North of the border, I haven't heard much BDS on the radio (which is a shame). Perhaps it will take a bit longer for they really spread throughout North America.
