Anything on the album would be my favorite, depending on what day it is. It isn't often an entire album will leave you spellbound as this one does. It's truly an amazing piece of work!

And what a lovely writer he is! I now have a list of songs to give an ear to that I haven't before. Some I know, others...not so much. Hmmmm. Did I see someone else's father on here? ;D Enjoy Malta Knowlesette!!! And don't try to keep up with the tan king! A sunburn can ruin a perfectly good holiday!

Tehe My dad?! I made him his own account thing. I'm always updating them (mum and dad) on Davy . . and when they ask questions I can never remember what gig they're talking about or where Davy is . . so I thought dad could keep himself up to date now hehe. Aww thanks you Yeah malta will be a great wind down for both of us. I think I'll burn Davy's ears off . . 2 and a half months worth of gossip to tell him!! hehe. Poor boy! I'm going to make Davy sit in the shade in Malta hehe - there is no competing with his tan ggrrrrr! Hope your well - thanks for sending them back Knowlesette x

had a new appreciation of stay. after finding out what the song was about i really could relate to that kind of loss but here's some others it helps with. my parents just moved from their house of 30 years, where i grew up basically (although that process is not complete, lol) anyway its not just that they were moving and having to decide what to do with a big house of stuff that won't fit into their new apartment, but the memories i had of the living there and also just as my parents and how they are aging. they moved into a retirement place so it was a big step but also necessary. while still young at heart, its more obvious how they aren't the same, so all the sudden the song stay comes in my head and it really got to me how i wish they would stay; young, in that house with my memories, and with all the things, and also there are a little farther away from me now geaographically. not very far though and i am glad they are still on this earth of course. so now it has been able to help me deal with those kind of losses too in a beautiful way. i wish something, something...
not to go too off topic but fellow slammer cathy who goes by withchazel just lost her mom yesterday. i am positive the song stay will be helping her out big time right now.

I've always loved the song "Gotta Leave". Davy, Adam and Ross' playing combined with Davy's powerful voice and lyrics, just takes me to another place. I've seen the lads play this song 3 times and I must say back in June, when my wife and I were in Chicago, somehow all 3 of the guys reached back and really powered through this song. It was and still is a vivid memory of something very special.
However, prior to the show, I got to speak with all 3 lads privately. During my talk with Davy, the song "Stay" came up in our conversation. What was said between the two of us will not be shared, but I must say to this day, I still think about that conversation and about the very special young man that shared his thoughts with me.

After the concert in Denver I'd say that Country Girl is my favorite. I really hope this one comes up on the next album.

That might have been me. I posted these on youtube and I linked them on JB's forum (I am also JBSRV). Davy said these COULD be on the next album, but I suspect they will. I'm glad I captured both of these on film .

Their music has been playing all afternoon and I have been lost in it. I hadn't mentioned before how beautiful the cello is on Stay. To Lucy's Dad, lovely work!
