Show your apprieciation for your favourite BDS song, and why.
I'd have to say 'It'll All Come Around' just because it's different to all the others. No blues effect really used, just great lyrics, and best solo on the album ;D ;D ;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D;D

Definately a good song ridinwiththeking. I must say my favorite is "Outside Woman Blues." Seriously I can't get enough I just love that bluesy-rock sound! I have been raving about the entire album to basically anyone who will listen, and everyone who has heard BDS is an instant fan. Honestly, you guys are just so talented - love it! ~Bianca

Bianca, Know what you mean about making instant fans simply by playing the cd! It's amazing the response it gets, well not really if you've seen 'em play live. Fav track? Roll Away, chokes me up EVERY TIME!

Great Question RWTK! Toss up between, Gotta Leave with that guitar! Takes a Real Man's lyrics and Come Home for that sick energy that pumps that power up! Well, I think I just like em all!

OMG! See, I saw them live first, then playing the CD, its like old home week. What's not to like?! I cannot wait to hear what comes next! They are all growing from this tour. And so far staying very grounded (Please don't' pull a Lohan...) I know they are experiencing much over here in the US, soon to be back home to IOM. Then, I'm sure much will gel and get put on paper for the next release. I, for one love all of the current cd, yet cannot wait to see what comes next. Back Door Slam, so glad I stumbled across you, you make my life better!

wow!
I'm a german now for one year in Berkeley, CA.
just heard your song on the radio, and thought: "wow, why do I not know this (old?) blues rock classic? - who is it?"
fortunately the radio guy said it was something new from "Backdoor Slam" - what?
just checked your website, will buy your record, and tell all my friends.
you are great. even greater considering your age.
so don't ruin your life and surely great career with the wrong drugs!

I like Roll Away, because the bit in the song that goes " Maybe I'll return to this Island some day" sounds to me like "Maybe I'll return to the asylum some day" which I feel is more fitting ;D

never heard one that was not enjoyed. "roll away" hits home as i was an island boy as well. mine was in alaska but an island is an island nonetheless.

My favorite song would have to be stay because there is just so much emotion in it and when I hear it it really makes me thinkof all the friends and family I have lost. It overall is just a very moving song. Love it!

I was pretty much going to say what Kaleigh said. “Stay” is my favourite too. The lyrics are really beautiful and it’s just an amazing song. It’s a hard decision though haha, I like every song. I think "Come Home" is a pretty close second.

Its definitely not easy to choose but for sure its Heavy on my Mind. after just a few listens it became one of my favorite songs ever - no lie. problem is that it doesn't seem really complete, I'd like to hear a 9+minute solo. it as if I sort of know what it would sound like even. and I am not a musician really so that thought alone blew my mind. not that i feel it wasn't a complete song when i hear it but i hear a whole other part of it in my soul or something and i'd really love to witness it in reality one day, please. love the beat, i look pretty goofy when i do a little head bobble to that beat though. Real Man probably next but honestly I love each song and thats rare. you guys do it the way i like!
